What is SoulCollage ®?

I am the one whose dreaming opens doors into other worlds.

SoulCollage® is an intuitive self-interpretation process reflected on
8 x 5 cards in the form of a mini-collage.

Each card represents an aspect of yourself, including your shadow (undesirable) aspects that make-up your personality. All of us have potentially hundreds of aspects depending on how far you want to break them down.

The purpose of this process is to get to know yourself better and encourage positive growth with awareness. Each card is aligned with a certain quality of yourself such as the ones pictured below.

What does all this have to do with dreams?

I've discovered that some of these aspects can be taken from your own dream characters! Your dreaming mind is a genius for coming up with characters that portray particular aspects of yourself that you should be aware of.

Here's an example from one of my own dreams (the short version lol!). In waking life I was deliberating about quitting my job and going back to school.

I had a dream about wandering around a house and talking to different people. I talked to a school girl and another older woman about my age...fiftyish (she was in MUCH better shape than I am...hmmm). They were encouraging me to stand up, speak out and be heard.

Then I went into another room where a dorky-looking old man shook his finger at me and told me to stop what I was doing because I was being a nuisance and so on.

The school girl followed me in and simply took me by the hand and led me out of the old man's room. She proceeded to get up on stage in front of everyone and give a speech.

I immediately recognized these dream characters as qualities of myself and knew they belonged on a card. I took the older woman character and made her into The Encouraging One.

The older man became The Discouraging One and the school girl, I made into part of a card called, The One Who Learns. I got three cards out of ONE dream!

Since starting the SoulCollage® process about a year ago, it has really made a difference in my dream characters. They have become more pronounced with aspects of myself that are easily recognized, just as they are in the dream example above.

So, now what?

Once the cards are made, you can use them to do occasional or even daily readings for yourself. It is also satisfying to just simply look at them as artistic reflections of all that is within you.
