Dream
Colors
Do
you dream in color? Most people
who pay attention to their dreams DO dream in color, which can
definitely lend valuable meaning to the dream message.
When I was in the ninth grade, my biology teacher taught us about ROY
G. BIV as a way to remember the
colors of
the rainbow (Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo and Violet).
These seven colors, plus black, white and brown and their various
shades make up the spectrum of colors that we see in waking life, that
will also carry over into our dreams.
When a prominent color jumps out at you in a dream, first consider
the feeling that comes across.
If the dream seems particularly symbolic, you might also match it up
with the associated chakra. I know that some of you reading this work
with chakras, so I will include these associations as well.
(For those of you who don’t know what a chakra is, go to
Sacred Centers to learn more
about them)

As
you go about writing out and interpreting your dreams, remember to

(including colors) in your own personal symbol dictionary.
Here is a link to a free symbol index page that you can download and
copy.
Put it at the back of your dream binder, or make a separate booklet for
