Your Dream Characters

Dream characters can be tricky to interpret, especially if the characters are the people closest to you such as family and close friends.

For example, if you dream that something bad happens to someone you know, does that mean you really want that to happen? Or could it simply represent feelings of worry and concern for that person?

Here is something to consider...

When you are awake, you are largely concerned with things happening outside of yourself. You have to interact with people and play through events as they are happening at any given moment.

Your conscious mind is very busy filtering all that external data coming in. However, your subconscious is very busy observing and recording internal data about YOU.

Your subconscious is concerned about your thoughts, emotions and feelings. So, when you are asleep and dreaming about your dream characters, your subconcious mind is doing it's thing and reflecting wisdom from those same thoughts, emotions and feelings.

It would make sense then to assume that these dream people represent your feelings about them, or the aspects you associate with them. You are not really dreaming about them personally...at least 99 percent of the time. There are such things as true precognitive dreams, but they are rare.

When considering your dream characters...

...think about what they were doing in the dream and what sort of energy they were displaying. It really doesn't matter whether you know them or not. What matters is what your waking mind associated with that character, and your sleeping mind is now using as an example.

My own dream characters usually display certain aspects...like Paul McCartney in my red carpeted hallway dream. I wasn't really dreaming about him, but his aspect of 'lucrative creative ability'. Or when dreaming of my niece, she is usually plowing through some task in the dream and I get 'solid determination'... and so on.

You may find like I have that some of your dream characters are consistant in their roles and you will recognize right away what aspect they are protraying. This will shorten your interpretation time considerably and make the process more enjoyable!
